Tolbutamide

It is a potassium ion channel inhibitor that selectively acts on islet β cells, stimulates insulin secretion and lowers blood sugar; enhances the hypoglycemic effect of exogenous insulin; it also inhibits the secretion of glucagon and enhances the effect of insulin.
