Genistein is a soy isoflavone and a multiplex tyrosine kinase inhibitor. Genistein has the activity of inducing programmed cell death, altering the cell cycle and angiogenesis, and inhibiting metastasis, and can be used for the research of cancer chemopreventive agents.
