Fibroblast Growth Factor, Basic, Human, Recombinant (rhFGF, Basic), is a 17.5kDa polypeptide containing 154 amino acids. It induces proliferation of multiple types of cells in vitro and demonstrates potent angiogenic activity in vivo. rhFGF, Basic, is produced from recombinant DNA expressed in E. coli.
